Terms of Service
Last updated: July 1, 2026 • Estimated reading time: 6-7 minutes
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the PassDrop website, email processing flows, account features, reusable pass templates, template API, and paid or free plans operated by PassDrop. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of Terms
By using PassDrop, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Website uploads: When using our upload flow, you must accept these terms before we can process your files.
Email submissions: When you send content to make@passdrop.app, your use of that workflow constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Use of Service
PassDrop lets users generate Apple Wallet passes from compatible emails, attachments, uploaded files, reusable templates, and API requests. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only with content and recipient data you are authorized to submit.
Plans and Billing
PassDrop is a freemium SaaS product. We may offer free access with usage limits and paid Premium or Business plans with additional features, higher limits, or expanded access.
If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate billing information and to manage renewals, cancellations, and payment methods through our billing provider where applicable.
We may change plan structure, features, pricing, or limits before launch or over time. We may suspend or revoke paid-plan access if payment fails, a charge is reversed, or an account is used abusively or in violation of these Terms.
If you delete your account while Premium or Business is active, account deletion cancels paid-plan access without any automatic refund or credit. Unused subscription time is not restored if you sign up again later, and a future account requires a new subscription to regain paid-plan access.
Email-Based Service
You can use PassDrop by emailing content to make@passdrop.app. Through this workflow you may:
- Forward emails that contain ticket or pass information
- Send files as email attachments for pass generation
- Receive generated passes and related status emails back to your inbox
Email-based processing may take longer than direct uploads because message delivery and parsing depend on external mail systems.
Business Templates and API
Business features may let you create reusable branded pass templates, mark variable fields, generate template-based passes, send passes to recipient email addresses, and create passes through a template API.
You are responsible for the customer, member, guest, attendee, or recipient information you enter or submit through templates, template passes, email delivery, and API requests. You must have all rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases required to create passes and contact recipients. You may not use PassDrop to send spam, unauthorized commercial messages, deceptive content, or messages to people who should not receive them.
Template API URLs include a secret token. Anyone with a valid template API URL can create passes from that template, so you must keep API URLs private and use them only from systems you control. Deleting a template disables its API URL for future pass creation, but it may not remove passes or messages already generated before deletion.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By sending it to PassDrop, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, reproduce, and use that content only as needed to provide the requested service, including template creation, pass generation, email delivery, API responses, and related support.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions necessary to share the content you submit.
Service Features
PassDrop may provide features such as:
- Pass tracking and delivery status in My passes
- Business pass templates, variable fields, and template-generated passes
- Template API access for automated pass creation
- Optional pass-quality and service feedback flows
- Newsletter subscriptions for product updates
- Technical support, security controls, and service monitoring
Features may change as the product evolves. Some features may be limited to certain plans, accounts, or launch stages.
Intellectual Property
The PassDrop service, software, branding, and related materials are the intellectual property of PassDrop or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or republish our materials except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if necessary to prevent abuse, address legal or security concerns, respond to billing failures, or enforce these Terms.
You may also request account deletion from your account settings. After you confirm the deletion request, account deletion is permanent and may remove your account, passes, jobs, templates, template pass records, stored logos and files, recipient email records, and active Premium or Business access as described in these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PassDrop and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or access arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date at the top of this page, notify users through the product, or contact affected customers directly when appropriate.
